Solution:
Creation of an existing Network Rail office location Podium outside Euston Train Station and use as the main HS2 London Hub.
Complete new IT Infrastructure across 3 floors housing 600 users:
- Project Management/ consultancy from start to finish.
- 1 communications room on each floor.
- Wi-Fi across on all floors and a dedicated resilient network across all desks.
- Access to all business systems and sign-off.
- Printing, Surface Hubs and Media Screens across all floors.
- UAT
- Service Transition and business sign-off.
Decommission 3 floors in Canary and Titan Square and relocate in phases into the Podium site.
- Decommission all devices to new location in phases.
- Update all the necessary documentation, update CMDB, etc.
Crossrail Datacentre relocation to Transport for London
Customer challenges:
Crossrail relocation of their current Infrastructure from their IT supplier Fujitsu to Transport for London before the end of the supplier contract.
Solution:
- Work with the current provider to ensure all Infrastructure is successfully migration from current supplier datacentre to TfL datacentre.
- Complete the decommissioning of all devices from Fujitsu datacentre.
- Complete the migration and installation of all devices into TfL datacentre.
